Weeble Wobbles: Ages 5-7 years – Boumans Wrestling Academy

Our Weeble Wobble program is designed specifically for young, beginner wrestlers ages 5–7. At this stage, our focus isn’t on competition but on building the essential foundations that make future wrestlers confident and capable. We emphasize body awareness, balance, and understanding how to move safely and effectively on the mat. Because many wrestling movements mirror basic gymnastics, our sessions incorporate agility drills, tumbling skills, and fun bodycontrol exercises. These activities help kids develop coordination, strength, and confidence while keeping the experience playful and engaging. The goal is simple: create a strong athletic base that prepares them for long-term success in wrestling and beyond.

Killa B’s: Ages 8-13

At Boumans Wrestling Academy, our youth program for ages 8–13 is built to support every wrestler—whether you’re stepping on the mat for the first time or already competing at an advanced level. We focus on strengthening fundamental wrestling knowledge while creating a strategic, growth-oriented environment that encourages healthy competition. Athletes will learn essential foundational skills alongside proven, more advanced techniques that elevate their overall performance. This program serves a dual purpose: to introduce beginners to the art and discipline of wrestling, and to provide experienced wrestlers with the coaching, challenge, and technical development they need to continue progressing in the sport.

Lighting Regional Training Center: Grades 8-12 (High School Program)

The Lightning Regional Training Center (LRTC) is designed for dedicated wrestlers in grades 8–12 who already possess a solid foundation in the sport and are ready to elevate their mindset and performance. This program emphasizes developing an advanced wrestling IQ—learning not just techniques, but how to truly wrestle at a high level. Athletes in LRTC are expected to train with intensity, focus, and purpose, regardless of their current skill level. While competition is not required, wrestlers are strongly encouraged to test their growth and apply what they’ve learned in live competitive environments. LRTC provides the structure, challenge, and coaching needed to push committed athletes toward their full potential.
